Recently, a number of our students took an important step in their faith journey as they celebrated the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.
First Holy Communion is a special milestone in the life of a Catholic, as students receive the Eucharist for the first time and are welcomed more deeply into the life of the Church. Through this sacrament, they are called to grow as disciples of Jesus, nourished by His love and strengthened to live out His teachings each day.
During the celebration, Father Dan reminded our students that receiving Holy Communion is not only a gift but also a responsibility. He encouraged them to share the message of Jesus with those around them through their words, actions, kindness and faith-filled example.
It was a joyful and prayerful occasion for our students, their families and our parish community. We thank the parents, carers, catechists and parish members who have supported these children throughout their sacramental journey.
We warmly congratulate all of our First Holy Communion candidates on this significant achievement. We are incredibly proud of their commitment to their faith and look forward to seeing them continue to grow as followers of Jesus, sharing His love with others in our school and wider community.
May God continue to bless them as they live our school mission to love, to care, to give.
